Edinburgh Place

Edinburgh Place is a public square in Central, adjacent to the Victoria Harbour. The Edinburgh Place complex, which includes the City Hall, was designed by British architects Ron Phillips and Alan Fitch in 1956 for the most important civic functions of the city. For years Edinburgh Place has been deliberately kept as an open space in the overbuilt city, freely accessible to the public, and is considered an essential contrast to the city bustle.
